If you want to succeed online, having a list increases your chances, or should I say a responsive list. There are many ways of developing your list, some of which involve money such as using Google adwords for example and others which are free, which include submitting articles and driving visitors to a squeeze page through the use of a BIO or resource box. Articles are great, but require work and patience, you need to write articles consistently and link them to your page by the use of chosen keywords. In this way you receive the benefit when some one clicks on your resource box and also when the search engines come calling and spider through your article.

This is a great technique, but make take weeks for you to feel the benefit. So this is why I want to talk about Giveaway events again. Once you have spent the time and effort in putting together your gift, building your pages and utilising an auto responder service, you are in a position to increase your list in large numbers over a small amount of time.

First things first, you need to choose a product that you have giveaway rights to, if possible try and package this with other products of a similar theme and hence provide a degree of uniqueness about your offering.

OK, the idea of building a landing page, thank you page and download page may appear daunting. However to gain the knowledge to do this is not insurmountable by any means, more of that in a moment.
