My Son, His friend And A Broken Xbox 360

My son just loves his Xbox 360, for me its a passing interest for him its a passion as with many million others around the world.  Anyway whilst my wife and myself were enjoying a walk in sunny Sleaford, Lincolnshire with our dog Lucy, my son was on MSN talking to one of his friends, another Xbox 360 enthusiast. There was one major difference my sons friend was upset because his Xbox 360 had developed the dreaded “Ring of Death” I was reliably informed, just sounded like something out of a science fiction movie to me, but then again what would I know?

However having researched this online wow, what a problem this seems to be! Thankfully my sons Xbox 360  is in good working order and still under warranty, but I became curious to what solutions were available if you were unfortunate to have a machine out of warranty. Sending it for repair seemed to be quite costly, so whilst trying to satisfy my curiosty I came across a number of sites claiming to have the best solutions for the 3 red lights or ring of death, a long with a number of other terms that did not mean much to me.

So ok, I  had now found a number of different possible solutiuons, but what next? How did I judge on what was good or bad, and finally I came across a review site that made it that little bit easier to decide on which solution might just be right if I needed a solution today. This site had a comparison review for what it considered to be the best three Xbox 360 repair guides online today, and enabled me to pass this information onto my sons friend and give him an option that he did not have before hand.
